Maintaining your heat impulse sealer requires you to replace some of the consumable parts (heating element, teflon cover, teflon adhesive) on a regular basis.  We provide replacements parts to suit your needs whether you are interested in purchasing one item or many.  We provide individual element, Teflon cover and Teflon adhesive items as well as replacement packs that include all three.

 

Sealers typically require replacement of the element, adhesive and cover parts after between 1,000-5,000 seals.   The number of seals can very dramatically depending on machine usage and timing settings.  

 

We provide both “round” and “flat” type heating elements.  In most sealers, the round and flat wire can be interchanged.  The round type element is mainly used to cut and seal with no seams.  Note:  We categorize round elements as 0mm elements.

The element will eventually break and must be replaced.  Note:  When replacing the heating element, be sure to check the condition of the bottom teflon adhesive.  If there are slight burn marks or damage, we recommend replacing the teflon adhesive.  It is important to keep the bottom teflon adhesive in good conidtion in order to extend the life of the heating element and timer.
